Yaygan Bags and Stationery was established by Aziz YAYGAN in Istanbul Turkey in 1934. In 1951 the company has registered to Istanbul Chamber of Industry and now YAYGAN is 90 years old, Industrialist Company. In 1934 Yaygan has started the production with leather goods and belts and after 1956 our company expand the production ranges with schoolbags, luggage and briefcases. In 1991 it has been decided to make our own brand of production under name of SMS and after that our company has started to produce suitcases, luggage and briefcases by SMS brand. In 2005 SMS company name has changed to YAYGAN Bags and Stationery. YAYGAN has started making licensed products in 2001 with the license of Warner Bros, Cartoon Network and Sony characters. Yaygan has made a very strong entrance to the licensed business with bags and then YAYGAN has also added the licensed stationery production in the companies business . Many more international brands and licenses has been managed by our company and many more still continue to join our family. Yaygan is also the brand owner for CORAL HIGH. Yaygan s extensive history in the marketplace reaches 91 years in the manufacturing of bags and stationery products of its own patent along with its licensed brands. While it remains to be a trendsetter in Turkey, serving thousands of high quality products in different varieties, Yaygan also exports to over 40 countries in a global setting.
